From the planning session, Jim wants you to feel confident the look and feel of a ceremony will be what you want. Jim will comment on aspects to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled, and the ceremony will be the experience you want. A most beautiful wedding ceremony awaits you.
This segment (and page) may state things that probably know or do not need reminding. However, in case you forget, here are other thoughts:
The guests need good directions to ensure they are not late to this celebration.
The entrance of special persons as they are escorted to their seats is normally the first phase of a wedding ceremony. Generally, grandparents are seated first, then step parents, followed by birth parents. When the bride's mother is seated, the ceremony officially begins.
The use of different people in the ceremony is a great way to honor people and give some variety. For example, only having the officiant speak may be "boring" to some, yet having friends and/or family be speakers or readers can offer variety as well as opportunities, such as honoring people.
Some people give the bride roses/flowers as she walks down the aisle is a nice "connection" with the guests. The bride may subsequently honor special people by giving then a rose, such as the mothers, grandparents, etc., or use the flowers to make her own bouquet.
