Jim Harley, through his personal life experiences and his education, is familiar with different religions, beliefs and cultures.  This knowledge and experience includes Christian, Jewish, Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca and other beliefs.

Jim Harley believes the words we say are consistent with our behavior.  Jim believes in a philosophy affirming the power of individuals to achieve a meaningful and ethical life lies within themselves and other people.

human destiny is in human hands.

Jim is a Secular Humanistic Jewish Leader (Madrikh or Vegvayzer).  Jim graduated from the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism (IISHJ).

Jim was ordained by the Leadership Council for Secular Humanistic Jews (LCSHJ).  Jim also received philosophical counselor certification by the LCSHJ.

The State of Michigan (and other states) recognize Jim as Clergy.
